Ghost Rocket (Single)

There’s a cowboy riding a rocket, looking for money inside your pocket.

“Ghost-Rocket” is a satirical single written and released in real time. Timed to a certain trillionaire’s rocket company going public. It takes the frontier mythology billionaires love to sell (the cowboy, the final frontier, the lone visionary staring down the horizon) and points out what’s actually being sold: your wallet, disappearing without a trace.

He said he’d save humanity. He charged them for the ticket. The rocket lands itself. The cowboy never does.

Musically, it’s a deliberate collision: twangy country guitar over a four-on-the-floor EBM kick, deadpan cowboy narration in the verses, an anthemic “yeehaw” hook in the chorus. The Texas swagger is the argument: the same showmanship that gets pointed at Mars gets pointed, just as easily, at a government.

He bought himself a platform. He bought himself a car. He bought himself a government and called it aiming for the stars.

No redemption arc, no soft landing. The workers hold the scaffolding, the billionaire holds the reins, and the song ends exactly where it started, going nowhere fast.
